Pastor Ricky is the son of the departed Pauline Craig and Richard D. Craig of Bethune ?SC. He was born in Surry County.  His family later moved to Rockingham County where he attended elementary and high school.  Ricky did not finish high school as a teenager, (he had a different plan for his life, as so many of us do at that age).  But, it did not take him long to realize that he needed his education.  He went on to earn his GED at Guildford Technical Community College, Jamestown NC and completed his Bachelors at Impact University, Clemons, NC in Theology.

He and his wife Donna were married December 10th, 1977.  They have two beautiful daughters, two great son-in-laws and five wonderful grandchildren.  Ricky loves preaching, teaching, golf, pool and playing the bass guitar.

With a heart to help people who are “down and out” and hurting in every area of life, Pastor Ricky became an ordained licensed Christian Counselor in 2010 with Chaplain Fellowship Ministries.  He ministers one on one with those in our jails and prisons within Rockingham County Detention Ministry.

Ricky began walking with the Lord as a teenager.  He accepted his call oan Evangelist in 1988 under the headship of Pastor Ralph Campbell at Oasis Baptist Church.  Ricky served as a Deacon, played the bass guitar for the ministry and a gospel singing group, “The Oasis Gospel Family” during his time there.  It is at that time he started ministering in prisons and to shut–ins, virtually anywhere the door opened – he went in.  His heart for the lost and hurting is contagious.

In 1991 he joined Pastors Harry and Jeanette Buckner, at Cathedral of Faith Christian Center.  He served as trustee, elder, teacher, praise team member/bass guitarist and continued his work in the prisons and hospitals.  After serving a  leader of some capacity at Cathedral of Faith Christian Center for 19 years, Ricky and his wife Donna were released into their own ministry of outreach and deliverance.  At this time they went on to establish IN HIM Outreach Center, Inc. currently located at 710 Chief Martin St. Madison, NC 27025  This is a ministry of excellence which is empowering and igniting change, breaking poverty mindsets and destroying racial barriers within their community.  A ministry striving to make a difference in the lives of others!
